Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Empty Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge

Post by Wolfson Wed 02 Jul 2014, 1:12 pm

As he walked towards the front, he felt many gazes upon him. His followers, his sisters. And his father. This was the day it all started. He closed his eyes as he recalled being with his friends in the forest. His precious friends, who would soon be free from their misery. It all started now. He opened his eyes as his crown was placed upon his head and waved to his people. They cheered.

My name is Jovan. I am the son of a former Champion of Hoenn. His name is Joseph. When I was little, I'd always ask to hear about his adventures. Now, it's finally my turn. I'm about to embark on my own adventure with my best friends, Cheren and Bianca. I can't wait! I'll make my dad proud! I'll become the Champion of the Unova region! Hopes! Dreams! Discoveries! Adventures await me and my Pokemon!

STARTING OFF! JOVAN'S ADVENTURE!!

"Is it true, Jovan!? We'll get to have our own Pokemon!?" Cheren was excited. He'd always wanted to head out on a journey. He had also heard my father's stories. "Heeey!" yelled a voice. Cheren and I turned to look; it was our friend Bianca. "Bianca, your late!" "What!? Did Jovan's father already arrive with the Pokemon?" "Well, no," Cheren sheepishly answered, "But you could've arrived sooner." Just as he said this, I heard my father's voice. "Good! You're all here!" He placed a present on the table. "In here are the Pokemon that will become your cherished partners." Cheren and Bianca decided that I should be the first to pick a Pokemon. My dad released them so we could see what they looked like. I decided to pick Oshawott. He looked pretty tough. Bianca chose Tepig, so Cheren got Snivy. My father told us to head to Prof. Juniper's lab and went downstairs.

"Oh!" Biance exclaimed, "We should have a Pokemon battle! Jovan, let's battle!" "Are you sure that's a good idea?" asked Cheren, "We're indoors." "It'll be fine! Now Jovan, let's have our first battle!"

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot4
My Oshawott continually used Tackle in order to defeat Bianca's Tepig.

The battle was over soon. My room ended up in a mess though. Cheren healed our Pokemon. "Okay, now it's my turn!" he said. He got his Pokeball and I was thrown into another battle!

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot3
Like my battle with Bianca, Oshawott used Tackle to defeat Snivy.

Just as I finished the battle, my mom came in my room. My friends and I quickly apologized for making a mess. She said not to worry and gave me my Xtransceiver. She reminded me to go see Prof. Juniper. We all quickly left for the Professor's Lab.

Nuvema Town
The lab was north of my house. My friends and I ran inside, where we met Prof. Juniper. "Well, looks like you've battled already! Well then, would you like to nickname your Pokemon?" My father had nicknamed all his Pokemon. He told me it was to strengthen the bond he had with them. "I'm going to call my Oshawott Orval!" The name stunned my friends. "It's a real name!" I shouted. The Professor laughed and gave my friends and I a Pokedex. This would register the data of the Pokemon we've seen. "Now, meet me at Route 1. I'll teach you how to catch Pokemon." My friends and I left after her. We ran into my parents outside. "Before you go," my mother told us, "Take these with you. They'll be very useful!" She gave us a Town Map. We wouldn't get lost with this. Cheren and Bianca thanked my parents and left to meet up with the Professor. My dad told me he had something for me too. He reached into his pocket and took out a Ticket. "What's this for?" I asked him. "It's for a boat to Liberty Island. You should check it out. The boat leaves from Castelia City. Take care, Jovan. Maybe, when you're stronger, we'll be able to battle." He left with a wink. A battle against my father! I remember that my dad had to fight his dad too. That would be awesome. I ran towards Route 1. It was time to start my adventure!

After obtaining my starter Pokemon, I've set off to become the best Trainer in Unova. Alright, Orval. I'm counting on you!

Spoiler:

TOWARDS STRIATON CITY! THE MYSTERIOUS N!!

Route 1
"Cheren, Jovan, let's take our first step on Route 1 together!" Bianca exclaimed. We nodded and began walking. "Let's catch up with Professor Juniper," Cheren said. We continued walking until we spotted the Professor. "Perfect," she said, "You're all here. Now let me demonstrate how to catch a Pokemon." We watched her closely. We had to weaken a Pokemon to have a better chance at catching it. "Meet me in the Pokemon Center in Accumula Town," the Professor said. Then she was off.

"Oh!" Bianca shouted, "I have an idea! Let's see who catches the most Pokemon!" "Alright," Cheren said, "You're on!" We headed our separate ways, trying to find Pokemon. I managed to find one soon. A Lillipup that I decided to name Logan. We trained a bit on Route 1 before heading to Accumula Town.

Accumula Town
"Welcome to the Pokemon Center, Jovan!" said Professor Juniper. "Here, you can heal your team, change it or buy items that can help you in your journey." Professor Juniper helped us out and left when she felt we understood. "Jovan," Bianca said, "You can go ahead. I'm going to buy some stuff first."

As I left the Pokemon Center, I noticed a large crowd had gathered. I went to check it out and met with Cheren. Suddenly, a bizarrely dressed man advanced. "Citizens of Accumula Town, I am Ghetsis of Team Plasma. Let me bring you your attention to what I think is the solution to a better future! Everyday, Trainers catch Pokemon and force them to follow their orders. How can we not call this slavery? We must liberate Pokemon for us to be truly equal! I leave these words for you to reflect on. Good day." Ghetsis and Team Plasma then left. Everyone was stunned by his words and slowly left to their homes. "That was weird," Cheren said, "Is Pokemon liberation even possible?"

"Your Pokemon... it just said..." said a voice. Cheren and I turned to see a man with green hair. "Pokemon talking?" Cheren asked, "What do you mean?" "Oh," the man said, "You can't hear them either. My name is Natural, but you can just call me N. I've been thinking. Maybe Ghetsis is right... Pokemon will never be equal with humans unless they are free. You there, with the Oshawott. What is your name?" I introduced myself and Cheren. "Jovan... Would you battle me? I wish to hear your Pokemon's voice again!"

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot21
N sent out a Purrloin which Orval easily defeated.

"I've never heard a Pokemon say such things..." N said. He then wandered off. "That guy was weird," Cheren said, "But whatever. I'm heading to Striaton City to get a Gym Badge. Later, Jovan!" I decided to head for Striaton CIty too, but I heard a voice calling me. "Jovan! Over here!" I turned and saw my mother walking towards me. "I'm glad I caught up to you! I found these while cleaning your room. They're Running Shoes. They're designed to help you run faster without so much effort! Also, do you still have the Liberty Ticket your father gave you?" I showed it to her and she smiled. "Good. Now go on. Your journey has just started!" I hugged her and left.

Route 2
I soon found a Lillipup, but my Logan was stronger and it ran away. I fought some Trainers here, which was good because Bianca suddenly appeared and challenged me to a battle.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot4
I had Logan battle her entire team, so that he would get more experience.

She told me she would train some more and left. I entered Striaton City.

Striaton City
I had arrived, finally. I found the Gym but the Gym Leader wasn't in. He was at the Trainer School. I would go there but I wanted to check out the Dreamyard first. So much to do...

Post by Wolfson Mon 07 Jul 2014, 11:24 am

Last time, I met the mysterious Pokemon Trainer N, who claims to hear Pokemon speak. After a brief battle against Bianca, I made it to Striaton City, where I'll get my first Gym Badge!

Team
Spoiler:

BATTLES AT THE GYM AND THE DREAMYARD!!

Dreamyard
There were some Trainers here that I battled for extra experience. When I reached a dead end however, someone spoke to me. "Hi there," the person said, "Did you know that the Gym Leader will use a Pokemon that will have a type advantage on your starter Pokemon?" I told her I didn't, but I was also curious as to how the Gym Leader would be ab;e to use a Pokemon that's stronger than mine. I told her who my starter Pokemon was. "Here," the person told me, "I'll give you this Pansear. It's strong against Fire-types, so that should help balance your team a but more. I thanked them and left. A Pansear, huh? I'll name him Robby.

Striaton City
The Gym Leader had left towards the Trainer School apparently. I decided to head there to meet him. However, when I got there, I ran into Cheren instead. He told me the Gym Leader had just left. I had missed him, but at least I knew he was at the Gym now. Cheren then challenged me to a battle. Now would be a good time to train Robby!

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot3
Robby's Incinerate was super effective against Snivy and it burned his Oran Berry. Now Snivy wouldn't be able to heal! I also had Robby take care of Cheren's Purrloin. The battle was soon over and Robby had become stronger. I decided to head to the Gym before the Gym Leader left again.

When I got to the Gym, I saw someone standing outside of it. It was the Gym Leader! He asked me what my starter Pokemon was. When I told him it was Oshawott, he muttered something about Grass-types. He entered and I followed. The Gym Leader went towards the back of the Gym while a man named Clyde gave me something that would heal my Pokemon if I needed it. By the time Clyde finished talking, the Gym Leader had left behind a curtain. The curtain had a symbol on it and three large buttons in front of it. Remembering what the Gym Leader had said earlier, I decided to step on the button with the type advantage over the type shown on the curtain. The curtain then glided open. I continued my way, battling a few Trainers and opening two more curtains. I finally reached the Gym Leader... or should I say Gym Leaders. There were three of them! They told me that the one they battled would depend on my starter Pokemon. I would battle either Chili, Cress or Cilan' masters of Fire-, Water- and Grass-types respectively. So that's why the person at the Dreamyard meant! I ended up having to face Cilan.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot7

Cilan started with Lillipup, a Normal-type. Thus, I decided to let Orval handle it. He used Focus Energy to increase his power and defeated Lillipup powerful Water Guns. That's when Cilan sent out his Grass-type Pokemon, Pansage. I sent out Robby to battle him. Pansage was strong, but I had the type advantage. Robby used Lick to paralyze Pansage and finished it with Incinerate attacks.

Cilan faced defeat and congratulated me for training my Pokemon well. He then gave me the Trio Badge. My first Badge! I remember my dad telling me about his first Badge. I thanked Cilan for the battle and the badge and left. When I got outside, I ran into a woman in a lab coat. Remembering Professor Juniper's words, I asked her if she was Professor Fennel. She said she was and asked me to help her out. She took me to her lab, where she explained that she was researching Pokemon Trainers. She told met that to complete her research, she would need Munna's Dream Mist. She gave me the HM Cut in order to help her out.

Dreamyard
I went back to the Dreamyard and used the HM to teach Cut to Robby. I cut down the tree blocking my way just before Bianca appeared. She was also helping Professor Fennel with her research. We heard a Pokemon's cry and headed out to see. We ended up finding a pink Pokemon with flowers patterns on it. I scanned it with my Pokedex and learned that it was Munna. Now all we needed was the Dream Mist. Suddenly, two people dressed bizarrely appeared and grabbed Munna. They looked familiar... They began kicking Munna in order to get it to release the Dream Mist. I wasn't going to stand by and watch so I sent out Orval to deal with them. I beat them both, but they continued beating Munna. However, someone else appeared. It was the man from Accumula Town, Ghetsis! That's right! That's why these two looked familiar. They were from Team Plasma! Ghetsis kept appearing in different places and eventually the two Plasma grunts ran off. Ghetsis disappeared and another Pokemon appeared from behind some rubble. Professor Fennel arrived and told us that it was Musharna, the evolved form of Munna. It had seen Munna in trouble and had produced Dream Mist to take the form of Ghetsis and scare Team Plasma off. She happily collected the Dream Mist and ran back to her lab. Bianca told me that she would stay behind to catch a Munna, so I left to Fennel's place.

Striaton City
Fennel was excitedly working on something. She thanked me for helping her and gave me a C-Gear. She explained how it worked. By putting a Pokemon to sleep, it might send a Pokemon into Entralink. The Pokemon in Entralink would be a Pokemon that my Pokemon had met in a dream! That sounded amazing! There were other functions on the C-Gear and she explained them all to me. I thanked her and left. I checked my Town Map and saw that the next Gym was in Nacrene City, past Route 3. With my destination known, I headed out. My adventure was off to a good start!.

Spoiler:

TEAM PLASMA AT WELLSPRING CAVE!

Route 3
"Orval, use Water Gun!" Orval obeyed ans blasted the enemy Pansear, knocking it out. I was at a nursery along Route 3. There were a few kids who had asked me to battle them, so I thought that it would be good to train my team. We trained hard, making sure to cover all our weaknesses. The next Gym Leader would surely be stronger than the last one...

"Hey! Jovan!" shouted a familiar voice. I turned around to see Cheren arriving. "Look what I've got!" he said as he took out a Badge. It was the Trio Badge. "We have the same number of Badges, so let's see who's stronger!"

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot3
Cheren's team was the same as before. Again, I dealt with Snivy with Robby. When he sent out Purrloin, I sent Logan to attack. The battle was over pretty soon.

"Ugh," Cheren said disappointing, "I need to keep training." I chuckled but another voice filled the air. "Stop! Give back that Pokemon!" Cheren and I turned to see Team Plasma run by with Bianca and a little girl right behind them. "Jovan! Cheren!" Bianca exclaimed "You have to stop them! They stole this girl's Pokemon!" We didn't need to be told twice. We ran after Team Plasma, cornering them in a cave.

Wellspring Cave
"Tch, looks like there's no place to run," said a Plasma grunt, "Alright! We'll fight you and liberate your Pokemon!" They sent out their Pokemon while Cheren and I sent out our starters. We easily defeated the Grunts but more took their place. Cheren and I teamed up to get rid of them. "Darn it! We had one job! Fine, take the Pokemon. But just remember that it's going to suffer because of you!" After they ran off, Cheren looked at the Pokeball. "I'm going to go return this Pokemon. See you, Wolfy!" I smiled at hearing my nickname. My father was also called like that by my mother.

As I explored the cave, I came upon a TM lying around. As soon as I picked it up though, a Pokemon dug through and attacked! I guess I must've grabbed it's personal treasure... My Pokedex informed me that it was a Drilbur. I caught it in order to calm it down. Once I had it calmed, I named it Melantha. I left Wellspring Cave to continue my journey.

Route 3
Bianca and the little girl were waiting for me. The little girl gave me some Heal Balls to thank me for getting her Pokemon back. Bianca told me she would escort the girl back home, so I went ahead. I ran into Cheren again who told me something interesting; the dark grass could sometimes hide more than one Pokemon. After he left, I decided to train some more. I failed at catching a Pidove, but at least I got some real training with some Trainers. I eventually reached my destination.

Nacrene City
I decided that I would train a bit more before heading to the Gym. Orval was getting restless, I didn't know why though. I played tourist in the City but eventually went ahead to train.

Pinwheel Forest (Outside)
I battled a bunch of Trainers here and even caught a Tympole that I named Eglantine. I got some cool stuff, like a TM and I managed to really train my team by searching for wild Audino. After I decided that my team was ready, I headed back. Another Pokemon suddenly appeared on my way back and I defeated it with Orval. Then I was given a big surprise. Orval started glowing! He was evolving! I stared in awe as my Oshawott evolved into Dewott. I was so happy, now I was definitely ready for the Nacrene Gym!

Nacrene City
As I headed for the Gym, I ended up running into someone... It was N. "I want a future that is perfect for Pokemon," he told me, "Wouldn't you agree that to be the best?" I did agree with him, Pokemon deserved to live happily. N challenged me to a battle in order for to hear my Pokemon's voice again.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot21
When we battled, I saw that N had new Pokemon. But I didn't see his Purrloin anywhere. Had he released it? He did say he didn't like Pokemon confined in their Pokeballs... I defeated N easily with my trained Pokemon. He seemed unpleased.

"I'm still too weak. There is no doubt... I need power. Reshiram's power." Reshiram? Was that a Pokemon? N left, leaving me a bit confused. I looked up to the Gym. Whatever, I had a goal. I entered the Gym, hyped for a tough battle.

Team
Spoiler:

LENORA AND THE SKULL THIEVES!

Nacrene City
WHAAAT!? WHAT IS THIS!? Where's the Gym!? Is this... a museum? I stared dumbly at all the Fossils and relic items around me. Looks like I got the wrong place somehow... "Hello there," a man said, "Welcome to the Nacrene Museum! Would you like a tour?" "Um, no thanks," I answered, "I thought this was the Gym..." The man smiled. "I see. Well follow me. My wife has the Gym at the back." I smiled, glad I had the right place after all. "Follow me,' the man said.

I entered the back and was confused again. This was a library. "The people here are also Trainers, and they'll provide hints for you to locate Lenora.," the man said, "Good luck." I thanked him and proceeded. Indeed, the people here would give me riddled that I would solve by locating the right book. While battling, Logan evolved into Herdier! Eventually, I found a hidden staircase underneath a bookshelf. I entered and met Lenora. "Welcome challenger! Let me see how you battle to add to my research."

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot8
Lenora started off with Herdier, so I did the same. Our Herdiers clash and bit, but Lenora's fell first. Unfortunately, Logan had finished with Take Down, which caused him to fall right after Lenora's Herdier. All I could do was watch my beloved friend fall. I felt hollow and heartbroken. I remember my father telling me about his first fallen partner: Maria the Whismur. I sent out Orval to avenge Logan. My heart skipped a beat when Lenora's Watchog almost killed Orval with Retaliate. With Torrent activated and a Mystic Water, Orval defeated Watchog in one hit with Razor Shell. "That was a wonderful battle," Lenora said, "You wouldn't have won without your strong bond with your Pokemon." She handed me the Basic Badge, which I accepted.

Suddenly, Lenora's husband came running. "Dear! Someone is trying to rob the museum!" "What!?" Lenora shouted. We all ran back to the museum. When we got there, it was none other than Team Plasma, up to no good again. They used a smokescreen to steal the Skull from the huge Fossil and ran away. As Lenora and I chased after them, we ran into Cheren and Bianca, as well as a guy who turned out to be the Gym Leader of Castelia City. We split up to chase after Team Plasma. The Gym Leader, Burgh, and I left for the forest.

Pinwheel Forest (Inside)
Burgh and I split up there. He went through the main path while I went through the actual forest. There were lots of Trainers and Plasma Grunts who tried to stop me. I got some extra help with a new parter: Jaqueline the Venipede. We eventually found the Plasma Grunt who had the Dragon Skull. I beat him just as Burgh arrived. An old man appeared suddenly, claiming to be one of Plasma's Seven Sages. He warned us not to interfere again and left. I returned Lenora's Dragon Skull and continued on my journey. Next stop, Castelia City.

Previously, I managed to obtain my first badge: I got my second Badge from Lenora at Nacrene City and stopped Team Plasma from running off with Lenora's Dragon Skull. The next Gym is at Castelia, but first, I should see what that ticket my dad gave me was for.

Team
Spoiler:

THE LEGEND FROM LIBERTY GARDEN!!

Skyarrow Bridge
"WOOOOOW! This place is huge!" My Pokemon and I stared in awe at the long bridge that would take us to Castelia City. We took our time getting across, looking at the skyline and the river. We even got to see a fancy boat pass by.

Castelia City
This city was very different from back home. Buildings towered over me, making me feel like a Caterpie in the woods. I decided to take a little tour of the city. I ended up getting lots of stuff and battling many Trainers scattered around. I suddenly remembered that my dad had given me a ticket for a boat in Castelia City...

"What's this for?" I asked him. "It's for a boat to Liberty Garden. You should check it out. The boat leaves from Castelia City.

Liberty Garden, huh. I set out to find that boat which was very easy, since it was on Liberty Pier. I flashed my Liberty Pass and was allowed on. I waited a while for any other passengers to get on, then the boat suddenly started moving. We sailed for a short time to reach a small island with a big lighthouse...

Liberty Garden
Something wasn't right... There were Plasma grunts around. But why? I saw a small group of them enter the lighthouse. Was there something in there? It must be something important if Team Plasma invaded the island. I ran towards the lighthouse, battling the grunts along the way to weaken their group. I reached the lighthouse and entered. It continued towards a basement. I defeated the grunts in there to stop them from continuing any further. But... what were they after? I decided that I would continue ahead. I wanted to see what was ahead.

I was not expecting to find a small room. It looked like someone was living here... I heard a sudden cry then. I gasped. I looked around but there was nothing there. The cry sounded again and I looked up. There it was... A Pokemon! That must have been what Team Plasma was after. The Pokemon got a playful look in its eye and flew towards me.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge 494Victini_Dream
The sent out Robby to battle the Pokemon. It used Quick Attack, so I had Robby use Yawn when it got close. The Pokemon attacked with Confusion before falling asleep. If it used Confusion, it could be a Psychic-type. I had Robby Bite it while it was asleep. I threw a Great Ball, hoping to catch it. It ended up waking up and breaking free. I put it back to sleep after it used Incinerate on Robby. I threw another Great Ball and began throwing Ultra Balls. I knew I would catch it eventually. After what seemed forever, using Yawn repeatedly and healing my Pokemon when their health got low, the Pokemon stopped resisting and allowed itself to be captured. According to my Pokedex, it was called Victini. I named it Victor and let it out so it could meet my Pokemon.

It was very strong. That must have been why Plasma was after it. After it was all over, we headed back to Castelia, where I decided to use Victor to get my third Badge. It turned out to be a Fire/Psychic-type. Neat, eh.

Castelia City
After I showed Victor to Professor Juniper, she revealed that Victini was actually a Legendary Pokemon, so it was very rare and strong. I was really surprised. To think that I managed to catch a Legendary Pokemon! "Okay, Victor. Let's go get that Badge." Victor shouted gleefully.

Previously: I reached Castelia, where I decided to check out that place my father told me about. I ended up befriending a Legendary Pokemon! Now it's time for my third Gym Battle!

Team
Spoiler:

THE GYM LEADER AND THE DESERT RESORT!!
Castelia City
"Okay. I can do this. Time to get my third Badge!" "Hey! Jovan!" "AAAHH!!" Well that was unexpected. I ran right into Cheren just as I entered the Gym. "Hey, that Gym Leader wasn't so tough. Good luck! I'm heading to Route 4." Cheren left but someone else came by as I turned around. "Oh!" Burgh said, "You're Jovan, right? Listen, could you come with me? I've heard that someone's Pokemon has been stolen!" "Uh, sure." We ran towards one of the many piers in Castelia. I was really surprised when I saw Bianca. "Jovan!" she exclaimed, "You have to help me! Team Plasma stole my Pokemon!" While Bianca told us what happened, a little girl arrived. "Hello, Iris," Burgh said to the girl, "What are you doing here?" "I heard this girl's cry for help, so I chased after the theives," the girl, Iris, answered, "I know where to find them. Follow me!" We all ran after the girl, who led us towards the Gym. Actually, she took us across the street from the Gym.

"This is the place," Iris told us, "Let's go inside and get that Pokemon back!" We entered the building and, sure enough, there were Plasma grunts all over the place. A pair of old men suddenly walked in. I recognized one of them from Accumula Town: Ghetsis. After some talking, Ghetsis returned Bianca's Munna and Team Plasma left. As Bianca and Iris left to train, Burgh and I headed towards the Gym.

The Gym's puzzle was pretty easy; simply press the buttons to open the gates beside them. I battled Trainers to strengthen my Pokemon. Finally, I reached the Gym Leader.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot9
Burgh started with Whirlipede, so I sent out Victor. I had Victor use Confusion so that he would have the strength to use Incinerate later. Eventually, Whirlipede fell and Burgh switched to Dwebble. I switched to Orval, who used Razor Shell multiple ties on Dwebble to defeat it. Finally, Burgh sent out Leavanny and I sent out Victor again. Victor used Incinerate to defeat Leavanny.

Burgh presented me with the Insect Badge, giving me my third Gym Badge. I'm far from finishing my adventure! Burgh told me the next Gym is in Nimbasa, just past Route 4. That explains why Cheren went there. I said good-bye to Burgh and headed towards Route 4. As I reached the gate, I was stopped by a familiar voice. "Jovaaan! Waaait!" Bianca ran up, asking me to battle.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot4
Bianca sent out Herdier and I sent out Orval, who won easily. Orval also defeated Pignite with ease. Victor took care of Munna and Pansage.

Bianca told me she would keep touring Castelia and left. I went the other way, to Route 4.

Route 4
I found Cheren in the sandstorm and he challenged me to a battle as well.

I started with Robby while Cheren sent out Pidove. It was a close battle that Robby won. I sent out Jaqueline to battle Panpour but she wasn't strong enough, so I had Orval finish it off. I then had him defeat Cheren's Liepard. Victor took care of Servine.

When the battle was over, Cheren and I received a call from Professor Juniper. She told us to head for the gate between Route 4 and Nimbasa City. Naturally, Cheren went right away. I decided to check out around here though. As I headed towards the northwest, I was attacked by a Sandile. I caught her and named her Kelly. I eventually reached a gate. It lead to the Desert Resort.

Desert Resort
The place was a living sandstorm! I could barely see. However, I could barely make out some sort of structure in the background. I headed towards it. As I neared it, I felt something nearby. I turned around in time to avoid an attack from a wild Darumaka. I captured her and named her Lucy.

Relic Castle
I entered the structure, which appeared to be some ruins. I couldn't get in too deep though. But I did get a cool Fossil and a Sandile I named George. I left and headed towards Nimbasa City. There, my fourth Gym Badge awaits.

Previously, I explored throughout Route 4 and the Desert Resort. There were some neat ruins. I didn't get to go very far, but I'll be sure to check this place out. Maybe after getting my fourth Badge.

Spoiler:

THE GREAT CITY OF NIMBASA!!

Nimbasa City
After speaking with Prof. Juniper, I entered Nimbasa City. I had not expected seeing Team Plasma threatening someone in the middle of the city! And an old man nonetheless. I defeated them and they ran off. The man thanked me and told me that he ran the Daycare I passed on Route 3. He gifted me with a bike and left.

I then ran into Bianca and we toured the city. We finished out tour at the Pokemon Musical. We were each given a Prop Case to store our Props. Bianca and I decided to participate in a Musical before heading out. We did okay, but we were far from being the best. When we left, we ended up running into Bianca's dad! He told Bianca that she had to go back home. They began arguing but someone stopped them. A pretty lady helped Bianca's father understand the importance of her journey. Bianca's dad gave Bianca official permission to continue on her journey and left. The woman told us she was the Gym Leader of Nimbasa: Elesa.

I followed Elesa's directions towards her Gym, but instead I ran into N. He told me he had seen some Plasma grunts run to the park. They must have been the two thugs who assaulted the old man! I followed him into the park but it was a lost cause. N decided that the best way to find them would be to get on the ferris wheel to see the whole park. We got on but instead, I got a confession from N; he was the King of Team Plasma! When we got off, the two Plasma grunts appeared. N let them escape by battling me.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot21
Just like last time, N had different Pokemon on his team. I battled his Sandile and his Darumaka with Melantha. Then, Orval took care of his Scraggy. I used Eglantine to battle Sigilyph but it was too strong and it killed her. Victor beat it instead.

N retreated after telling me what he planned to do. He dared me to stop him.

I entered Elesa's Gym and began battling the Trainers there. Melantha was strong enough to beat them all. After a fun ride, I reached Elesa.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot10
Elesa's Emolga couldn't use any Electric-type attacks on Melantha, so I used Hone Claws while it used Pursuit. Eventually, I attacked with Rock Tomb, knocking it out in one hit. I did the same with the other Emolga. When Elesa sent out Zebstrika, I used Dig to avoid it's Flame Charge. I knocked it out and won the battle!

Elesa gave me the Bolt Badge and TM Volt Switch. I thanked her and left. I went to the Pokemon Center to withdraw the newest member of my team: George.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Empty Re: Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge

Post by Wolfson Sun 16 Nov 2014, 2:05 pm

Previously, I obtained my fourth Badge in the amazing city of Nimbasa. It's time for me to head over to Driftveil City in order to get my fifth Badge!

Team
Spoiler:

BEYOND THE CHARIZARD BRIDGE!!

I started off by replacing Melantha with George. It seemed like a better Ground-type. It had an extra type so I went with it. I then went to Route 16 where I caught a Trubbish that I named Skylar.

Lostlorn Forest
I trained a little but I didn't manage to catch anything. There was a kind, mute lady who took care of my injured Pokemon. I couldn't help but feel something weird about her. She kind of reminded me of the lost little boy in Castelia...

Route 5
Cheren appeared and told me he had obtained the Bolt Badge, so we battled again.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot3
My Orval was strong enough to defeat his Liepard, Panpour and Tranquil. Victor defeated his Servine.

When we finished our battle, a man appeared to us and asked us to battle a pair of children. He told us he was Alder, the Champion of Unova! It was an honor to meet him! We battled the kids like he asked us to and Jaqueline even evolved! Elesa then came and told us the bridge had been lowered. Cheren and Alder had finished their discussion; Cheren looked deep in thought.

Driftveil Drawbridge
While I was half-way across, I was attacked by a wild Ducklett. I managed to capture it and named him Rumen.

Driftveil City
After getting across the "Charizard Bridge", Cheren and I ran into a man by the name of Clay. He was the Gym Leader of Driftveil and pretty mad that Team Plasma managed to sneak into the city due to lowering the bridge for us. Cheren and I set out to find them.

Cold Storage
I looked around the large containers and found only a Herdier that I named Elena. I entered a building that was frozen inside. It was freezing! I made my way in and found Team Plasma huddling around one of the Seven Sages. We dealed with them so that Clay would apprehend them easily when he arrived. Clay was grateful and told us to stop by his Gym.

When Cheren and I reached the Gym, Ghetsis was there. He took the Team Plasma members we had apprehended and made off, telling the Sage that it was all for the king... What could N be up to, I wonder. Cheren left to train, so I headed into the Gym.

Driftveil Gym
The place was full of elevators, by I eventually solved the puzzle and reached Clay. We sent out our Pokemon for my fifth Gym Battle!

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot11
Because Clay was a Ground-type Gym Leader, I used Orval to defeat all of his Pokemon. Clay congratulated me when I won and gave me the Quake Badge and told me to meet him at the end of Route 6. I wonder what he wanted to show me.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Empty Re: Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge

Post by Wolfson Sat 17 Jan 2015, 2:04 pm

Previously, I went to Drfitveil City, where Team Plasma was hiding from the Gym Leader Clay. After I helped him find them, I challenged him at the Gym and got my 6th Badge!

Team
Spoiler:

ELECTRIC CAVE AND HEAD IN THE CLOUDS!!

Driftveil City
As I left Driftveil City, Bianca appeared. She told me she had something cool to give me if I beat her.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot4
She started off with Herdier, so I used Jaqueline. It was a close one, but Jaqueline was victorious. She sent out Musharna next, so I sent out George to have an advantage. After a few Crunches, Musharna fell. Bianca then sent out Pansage, so I sent out Victor. It was an easy win. When Bianca sent out Pignite, I decided to use Rumen to defeat it.

Bianca gave me the HM Fly, so I could go back to wherever I've already been. Awesome! Bianca left and I continued onto Route 6 to meet with Clay.

Route 6
As soon as I entered the Route, I was attacked by a wild Tranquil. I captured her and named her Lucy. I also found a laboratory that studied Deerling and its coats. I also think I saw a cave on the other side of the river, but I couldn't find a way to get there. Hmm...

When I reached the end of Route 6, there was a cave with a spider web covering the entrance. Clay suddenly appeared and cleared the web with Krokorok's Bulldoze. He then gave me the TM for it and wished me well on my journey.

Chargestone Cave
A little bit after I entered the cave, three men appeared out of nowhere and started pushing me along. They ended up leading me to N. He told me the men, the Shadow Triad, had been ordered by Ghetsis to investigate me and my friends. He claimed that I was the neutral party in my group. He told me that Ghetsis had prepared a test for me up ahead and left.

A little later, Bianca appeared again with Prof. Juniper. She wanted to investigate Klink, a Pokemon that lived in the cave. She then gave me a Lucky Egg. I thanked her and moved on.

A little later, I ran into a Joltik. I captured him and named him Kynaston. There were other Trainers in here and George battled enough to evolve into Krokorok. That would certainly help with Ghetsis's "est" up ahead. Eventually, the Shadow Triad reappeared and guided me across a bridge. They told me Team Plasma was waiting for me below and vanished. It was long and really annoying, but I managed to defeat the high number of Plasma Grunts that littered the cave. When I reached N, he asked me if I had a dream of my own. I told him about my dream to become a Champion like my father. He told me it was good to have a dream and challenged me to a battle.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot21
I had Orval take care of N's Boldore. Then, Victor roasted N's Ferroseed. N sent out Joltik so I sent out George. When N sent out Klink, I had George stay in battle. It was a very short battle.

Afterwards, Prof. Juniper arrived and N expressed his dislike her her and the Pokedex, claiming we were enslaving Pokemon to try to understand them even though we never would. N left the cave and Prof. Juniper and Bianca continued on the hunt for Klink. I left the cave after N.

Mistralton City
As I headed into the city, I was stopped by a man. He saw my Pokedex and said his name was Prof. Juniper; he was Prof. Juniper's father Cedric. He updated my Pokedex and introduced me to Skyla, the Gym Leader of Mistralton. Skyla told me she was headed to Celestial Tower at the north of the city, where she believes she saw an injured Pokemon. I followed after her.

Route 7
I caught a Foongus that I named Jayden here. I put him in my team, replacing Robby. Jaquline and Orval also evolved into Scolipede and Samurott, which would help for the next Gym.

Celestial Tower
While climbing, I caught a Litwick that I named Lavena. When I reached the top, I found Skyla looking at the sky. She told me it was indeed an injured Pokemon she had seen. However, she had already treated it and it flew away. She told me that since I was there, I should ring the huge bell nearby. I did and she said the ring sounded like a kind and strong person had rung it. She told me she was heading for the Gym and would await my challenge. I flew back towards Mistralton City.

Mistralton Gym
The Gym's puzzle was really straightforward. I just had to get launched by various cannons around the Gym. Eventually, I reached Skyla and begun my battle against her.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot12
Skyla started with Swoobat and I started with George. In a single Crunch, Swoobat was down. Skyla sent out Swanna so I switched to Orval. I used a combination of Focus Energy and Slash to deal with Swanna quickly. I then sent out Victor to battle Skyla's Unfezant. It was fairly easy to beat it.

After the battle, Skyla gave me the TM for Acrobatics and the Jet Badge. I now had 6 Badges and needed 2 more. Skyla told me the next Badge was at Icirrus City and wished me well on my journey. Time to get the next Badge!

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Empty Re: Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge

Post by Wolfson Fri 06 Feb 2015, 6:09 pm

Previously, I passed through Chargestone Cave, being tested by Team Plasma there. N met Prof. Juniper and let is know what he thought of the Pokedex. Entering Mistralton City, I met Skyla and Prof. Cedric Juniper. I rung the bell at Celestial Tower and headed to Skyla's Gym, getting my 6th Badge, the Jet Badge. Just two more!

Team
Spoiler:

SURFING TOWARDS THE GUIDANCE CHAMBER!!!

Mistralton City
As I exited the Gym, I ran into N. He told me that Pokemon never lied, so he wanted to ask my Pokemon some questions. He asked Orval about me and learned about my parents and how I started my adventure. N said he was glad I treated my Pokemon nicely. He then said that there are some people who treat Pokemon as tools, so he as going to separate them. He told me Team Plasma was looking for the Dark Stone and the Light Stone; the remains of two legendary dragons from Unova's past. N claimed he would resurrect one of them to help him separate Pokemon and people and left. I thought about his words, storing them in my memory.

Twist Mountain
Getting past Route 7 was simple. Soon enough, I reached the entrance to Twist Mountain. As I neared it, I heard Cheren call out to me. When he reached me, he told me he also obtained the Jet Badge and he wanted to see which one of us was stronger.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot3
I attempted to defeat Cheren's Unfezant with Jaqueline, but it was no use. I switched her for Orval instead. Cheren predictably sent out Servine, so I sent out Victor. Then when he switched to Simipour, I decided to send out Jayden. Finally, Cheren used Liepard and I sent out Jaqueline again, who managed to land good hits this time.

After defeating Cheren again, he was upset at how he would always lose to me, despite having the same number of Badges. Alder suddenly appeared, telling Cheren to think again about what he would do if he became stronger. He then gave us both the HM03 Surf. He and Cheren then left. I taught Rumen Surf and decided to backtrack a little bit. I flew back to Accumula Town and left Victor in a PC. I had a feeling I'd need the space later...

Route 17
As I entered Route 17, I sprayed some Repel around myself. There were strong currents here and a wild Pokemon would break my concentration from them. However, there were some Trainers around and the battles allowed Rumen to evolve into a Swanna.

Route 18
I eventually reached an island. Inside a house, a girl healed my Pokemon and a Ranger gave me an Egg. I found the HM05 Waterfall and I also found a rare Pokemon: a Sawk!. I caught him and named him Ricky. I made a mental note to add him to my team later. I surfed over to another island with a warehouse on it.

P2 Laboratory
Outside, I caught a Watchog that I named Ruby and obtained some more goods. When I reentered Route 17, I ran into a wild Frillish that I caught and named Max. Jayden also evolved into Amoongus. After making sure I had everything, I flew to Driftveil City.

Driftveil City
I switched Jaqueline in favor of Ricky at a PC and headed north. I remember having spotted a cave when going towards Chargestone Cave and wanted to see what I could find.

Mistralton Cave
Inside, it was really dark. I located an Axew, but unfortunately, it disappeared into the darkness before I could catch it... I walked around, hoping to find something good.

Guidance Chamber
I met an old man in here who told me a story...

In the distant past, when Pokémon and people lived in different worlds, a war between people started an intense fire in a forest where many Pokémon lived. The Pokémon were surrounded by smoke and flames. They were in big trouble. And then, the legends Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion appeared! Terrakion used its amazing strength to destroy rocks blocking the escape route. Virizion used its quick movements to protect Pokémon from looming flames. And Cobalion led the frightened Pokémon out of the burning woods. ... The people who started the war were routed by the power of the legends. Because of Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, the war was ended. ... When people fight, there's no peace for Pokémon, either. The three legends learned that the deeds of humans could lead to dire consequences for their world. ... They cut themselves off from people and disappeared. No one saw much of them after that, and the three faded into myth...

As I headed deeper into the Chamber, I felt a presence. Then, out of nowhere, a Pokemon attacked!

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge 638
I had Ricky use Low Kick in order to weaken it and slow it down. Then, I switched to Jayden, who seemed to resist most of its moves. Eventually, Jayden's Effect Spore was activated and the Pokemon was paralyzed. I took advantage and threw a well-timed Ultra Ball. However, it still broke out. It took several tries, but eventually I caught the Pokemon. My Pokedex told me it was Cobalion, a Legendary Pokemon. I named it Coby.

The old man arrived and told me that there were others like Cobalion. He told me that now that Cobalion was with me, the others would let me find them. I suddenly remembered an area in Pinwheel Forest that had been previously blocked. I wonder...

Rumination Field
After flying to and entering Pinwheel Forest, I headed towards the part that had been blocked. Sure enough, the blockade was gone and when I entered, I felt a presence similar to the one in the Guidance Chamber. I looked ahead and saw another Pokemon, waiting...

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge 640
I used the same technique as with Cobalion. Sure enough, eventually I caught the Pokemon. According to the Pokedex, it was called Virizion. I tried to think of where I could find the third one but I couldn't think of anywhere suspicious. Maybe I'd stumble across it in my travels...

I decided to take advantage of my proximity to Skyarrow Bridge. I biked over and continuously biked across the bridge. Suddenly, the Egg in my Bag heated up. I took it out and watched as it cracked and hatched. I had a new baby Larvesta!

Post by Wolfson Sat 21 Mar 2015, 6:59 pm

Previously, I received the HM Surf from Alder and decided to head back and check anything I had missed before. I ended up finding an Egg and two legendary Pokemon! Than my Egg hatched into a Larvesta. Now I can go through Twist Mountain to fight Brycen in Icirrus City.

Team
Spoiler:

A FROSTY BATTLE AND THE DRAGONSPIRAL TOWER!!

Twist Mountain
It was very cold, but I kept walking to keep warm. I used a Max Repel as well. I didn't want to find any Pokemon just yet. My Pokedex showed that Cryogonal appeared in the Mountain, but I felt like it would be easier to find it in colder weather. I kept going, fighting Trainers and getting items. After many twists and turns, I saw the exit ahead and went through.

Icirrus City
Icirrus City had puddles everywhere. I ended up stepping on a Stunfisk that I managed to capture and name Courtney. I healed my Pokemon at the Center and bought some cool TMs, including Fire Blast, which I let Apollo learn. I left and headed for the Gym.

Icirrus Gym
It was freezing! The floor was frozen solid, but I could see gears through the ice. It appeared to be connected to some curves that would help me navigate the Gym. I slid across and began making my way through. It took a lot of sliding and slipping, lots of twists and turns, but I managed to beat every Trainer and make my way to Brycen.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot13
Brycen began with Vanillish so I sent out Apollo. I continuously used Fire Blast in order to defeat it. Brycen then sent out Beartic, so I switched to Orval. I used Focus Energy and Slash to deal with it. I finished it off with a powerful Razor Shell. Finally Brycen sent out Cryogonal, so I sent out Ricky. Cryogonal tried to hide behind Reflect, but Ricky's Brick Break dealt with it quickly.

I won the battle and Brycen rewarded me with the Freeze Badge. I now had 7 Badges. I needed one more!

I left the Gym and found Cheren and Bianca. We began to talk when Brycen exited the Gym and called out to someone. The Shadow Triad suddenly appeared from out of nowhere and told us to head to Dragonspiral Tower. Brycen and Cheren went ahead. I healed my Pokemon at the Center and went with Bianca.

Dragonspiral Tower (Entrance)
On our way to the Tower, Bianca and I were attacked by a Druddigon. I captured it and named it Jane before continuing ahead. We found Prof Juniper Sr. just before the Tower. He told us about the Dragon of Truth, supposedly waiting at the top of the tower for the hero who would change Unova. He warned us about its power to destroy Unova in the wrong hands. Bianca decided to stay with the Professor and I went on ahead.

Dragonspiral Tower (Outside)
There were a few Trainers, so I battled them for a little bit of experience. I didn't find any Pokemon, however.

Dragonspiral Tower
The place was filled with water. Luckily, I was headed up some stairs, so I made my way. Just as I reached the stairs, however, the Tower shook. Was...Was something...going wild at the top of the tower? I went up and found Cheren. He told me I could walk on the fallen pillars to get across. While doing so, I ran into a Golett. I captured it and named it Maton. I continued up and found Cheren and Brycen surrounded by Team Plasma Grunts. They told me to go up ahead. I did but there were more Grunts in the way. Eventually I managed to beat them all, but the Tower shook again. It sounded like something was on a rampage at the top of the tower! As I neared the top, I was stopped by one of the Seven Sages, Giallo, and four more Plasma Grunts. I defeated them quickly and reached the top of the Tower.

What I saw at the top was N. N and a very big, white dragon. It was the Vast White Pokemon, Reshiram! N told me that he had awakened it and he would now be the hero who would separate Pokemon and people for good. He told me that if I believed in a future where Pokemon and humans could be together, that I had to seek out Zekrom, the Deep Black Pokemon, and become the other hero. We would fight for what we believed in. He then got on Reshiram and left. Brycen and Cheren appeared then, and we left the Tower together.

When we reached Prof. Juniper, Alder was there with him. He told me about the Dark Stone, which was the remains of Zekrom. He told me it might be in Relic Castle and left. Bianca told me it was in the Desert Resort...It must've been the ruins I had found! I went to the Pokemon and replaced George with Maton, then I flew to Nimbasa City.

Post by Wolfson Thu 26 Mar 2015, 6:57 pm

Previously, I defeated Brycen to obtain my 7th Gym Badge and learned that N was at Dragonspiral Tower to revive the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram. When I got to the top of the Tower, N told me to look for Zekrom so we could fight for the world we believed in. Now I'm on my way towards the Relic Castle, where the Dark Stone lies in wait.

Team
Spoiler:

JOURNEY TO OPELUCID CITY!!

Nimbasa City
I make my way to Route 4 and through the Resort Desert, back to the Relic Castle, which I was unable to fully explore eariler

Relic Castle
When I get to the Relic Castle, Cheren appears and tells me Alder has already made his may inside. I enter and make my way to where there was a sandslide blocking the way. I meet Ryoku of the Seven Sages who tells me that Ghetsis is, once again, testing my ability as I make my way to the bottom. Thus, the Relic Castle was packed with Team Plasma Grunts. After a while, I managed to reach the bottom floor with Cheren, where Alder was confronting Ghetsis. Ghetsis then tells us that the Dark Stone is not there. He tells me I'll have to locate it somehow if I want to become the hero who will challenge N and leaves. Alder Cheren and I leave as well.

When I get outside, I receive a call from Prof. Juniper who excitedly tells me to go to the Nacrene Museum.

Nacrene City
When I get to the Museum, I find Alder, Professors Juniper and Bianca. Lenora then leaves the Museum, holding the rock from the exhibit. The rock turns out to be the Dark Stone. It seems Team Plasma had indeed found the right place when they stole the Dragon Skull... Alder tells me to head to Opelucid City, where Dragon-type specialists might help me figure out how to awaken Zekrom. Alder leaves and I head to Icirrus to make my way to Opelucid City.

Route 8
It's raining when I reach here, full of puddles and small marshes. I take a detour and pass through the Moor of Icirrus to get some extra goods. While I make my way to the Tubeline Bridge, Bianca catches up to me. She tells me she might become Prof. Juniper's assistant, and tells me she'll need to know more about Pokemon, so she challenges me to a battle.

Wolfson's White Nuzlocke Challenge Mugshot4
Bianca sends out her Stoutland so I use Ricky to Brick Break it down. Bianca tries to swicth to Musharna to have a type advantage so I switch to Maton, who uses Bulldoze to slow Musharna down and finish it off with Shadow Punch. Then Bianca sends out Simisage and I send out Apollo. It's still raining so my Fire-type attacks are weakened, but I still manage to defeat it. We finish the battle with our starters, but I have the clear advantage: a super-effective Razor Shell powered up by the rain deals an OHKO.

After the battle, Bianca gives me a Full Restore and tells me I have to beat N, otherwise humans and Pokemon will be seperated and both parties will be sad...

Tubeline Bridge
The place is a mess! There are bikes everywhere, driving recklessly. Someone drives up to me and tells me they are the Black Empoleon. The man, presumably the leader, won't let me pass. I challenge him to a battle on the condition I get to pass if I win. I manage to easily defeat him and in awe, he changes the gang's name to Black Samurott. He lets me pass, so I head on my way. As I near the end of the Bridge, the Shadow Triad appear and take me to Ghetsis. He commends me on finding the Dark Stone, but mocks my capability to revive it. He claims Zekrom will never accept me as the hero of ideals and leaves.

Route 9
There's a huge shopping mall that I enter. I manage to battle Trainers and I get some TMs that might come in handy later on. Later, when I leave, I run into a female Duosion. I capture it and name it Eva before making my way into Opelucid City.

Opelucid City
Alder leads me to Ghetsis, who is giving another speech. However, unlike the speech in Accumula Town, he's more menacing... He claims that they have the Legendary Dragon on their side and anyone who will not release their Pokemon will suffer dire consequences. After he leaves, Alder leads me to Iris, the girl from Castelia City, and an old man named Drayden. Alder returns to the Pokemon League to confront N. Iris and Drayden, meanwhile, lead me to their home to tell me more about the dragons of legend.

Previously, I headed to the Relic Castle to locate the Dark Stone but it wasn't there. Instead, it was at the Nacrene Museum. I was told to head to Opelucid City to get help from two Dragon-type specialists who might know how to resurrect Zekrom. I made my way there, running into Ghetsis along the way, who told me that I stood no chance against Team Plasma. Arriving in Opelucid, Ghetsis gives another, more threatening speech and leaves. Iris, the girl I met in Castelia, and the mayor of Opelucid, Drayden, lead me to their house to tell me more about Zekrom.

THE FINAL GYM! TOWARDS VICTORY ROAD!!

As I follow Iris to her house, I take note of the city. It has an ancient look to it, as if I were living in the past. Eventually, we reach her house. Once I get inside Iris and Drayden tell me about the legend of the two heroes.

Reshiram and Zekrom were once the same Pokémon. That single dragon, along with twin heroes, brought the Unova region into being. Things were peaceful, for a time. One day, the older brother who sought truth, and the younger brother who sought ideals, began to argue about who was right. The dragon split its body into two, one siding with each brother. The white dragon pursued truth, while the black dragon sought ideals. Their battle raged endlessly, and because they were once the same entity, their powers were matched. Neither emerged as a clear winner, they simply exhausted themselves. The brothers realized that neither side was right and stopped fighting. But their sons started the feud again, and an instant later, Reshiram and Zekrom destroyed Unova with fire and lightning.

Unfortunately, neither Drayden nor Iris know how to revive Zekrom. Even so, they will help me stop N. Drayden tells Iris to go to head to the Gym to confront me. She leaves so I decide to train a little more, eventually evolving Maton into a Golurk. Once, I feel like I'm ready, I head to the Gym.

Opelucid Gym
The Gym is a large building where there are three huge dragon statues. I make my way onto the dragons, following the only path possible, in order to try to reach Iris. Defeating Trainers, I realize that by jumping on buttons, I can cause the dragons to move their heads, opening new paths. Armed with this knowledge, I head forward, defeating Trainers until I finally reach Iris. She's excited to be able to battle me and begins our battle eagerly.

I sent out Orval to battle against Iris's Fraxure, but it managed to land a Dragon Tail attack which sent Orval back to his Pokeball and taking out Maton, who could finish the job with Shadow Punches. Iris switches to Druddigon so I send out Jayden to eat at it with Toxic and heal a little bit with Giga Drain. Eventually, the poison takes its toll on Druddigon. Iris sends out her last Pokemon, Haxorus, while I remain with Jayden. I manage to land another Toxic before Haxorus forcibly switched him with Ricky. A powerful Brick Break and a well-placed Strength along with the poison helps me defeat Haxorus and win my last Gym Battle. Iris presents me the Legend Badge and wishes me luck.

When I leave the Gym, Prof. Juniper is there. She leads me to the entrance to Route 10, where the Victory Road is found. She asks me if I regret setting out on my journey. I tell her that I don't; I'm living my father's legacy and I believe I can show N my ideals and help him realize the truth. Prof. Juniper gifts me with a Master Ball and leaves as I enter Route 10.

Route 10
Soon after entering Route 10, I find a Rufflet that I manage to catch. I name him Mike and decide to replace Rumen with him to avoid having two Water-types in my team. I train him a little so that his level is on par with my team's. While training, Cheren and Bianca appear to wish me luck. Cheren tells me that he has to be sure I can face N and challenges me to a battle.

Cheren and I begin with a battle in the air when he sends out Unfezant and I send out Mike. After a close battle, Mike wins. Cheren then sends out Simipour but I beat him with Jayden's Giga Drain. Then I use Apollo's Fire Blast and Bug Bite attacks to defeat Cheren's Serperior. And finally, Ricky beats Cheren's Liepard by weakening it with Brick Break and finishing it off with a Counter.

Cheren heals my Pokemon and tells me to be careful. He leaves and Bianca offers more words of support before leaving as well. I move on and finally reach the Badge Check Gates. As I head through, I am reminded of my journey by passing through the gates, which are reminiscent of their respective Gyms. After checking through, I take my first steps into...

Victory Road
It's a huge canyon, full of caves and slopes I can slide down on. While trying to make my way up, I run into a wild Durant. I capture it and name it Helga before moving on. Eventually, I find a room that was hidden away from sight. When I enter, I find a Pokemon unlike any other...

Trial Chamber
Before I realize it, the Pokemon begins to battle me. I decide to use Maton once I realize it uses Fighting-and Normal-type moves. Maton is also resistant to Rock Slide. Maton uses Bulldoze in order to weaken the Pokemon until I'm able to capture it with an Ultra Ball. As I check my Pokedex, it turns out that the Pokemon was Terrakion, the last Pokemon from the legend... I name it Terry and continue towards the exit. When I get out, I realize that the Pokemon League is just ahead. However...I'm not going there just yet. First, I need to train my Pokemon. I need to be ready for N. I train as much as I can, getting my Pokemon's levels up and even evolving Mike into Braviary. After a LOT of training, I make my way over to the Pokemon League...
